Track proposals and learn from the result

Keep a small weekly record of fit, proof, Connects, replies, calls, wins, and the lesson to test next.

Track the choice, not only the count

Record why a job looked like a fit and which proof you used. Twenty proposals alone do not tell you whether the jobs were strong choices.

  • Job or client
  • Fit reason
  • Proof used
  • Connects spent
  • Reply, call, or win

Read the funnel in order

A low view rate may point to job choice or the first lines. Views without replies may point to proof, clarity, price, or fit. Calls without wins may point to discovery, scope, or a different business need.

One-week lesson

My React case study got two replies. Next week I will use it only on jobs where the client mentions dashboard or table work.

Change one thing at a time

If you change the niche, profile, price, proposal, and job choice together, you will not know what helped. Pick one sensible test and keep the rest steady long enough to learn.

Keep private data private

Do not paste client secrets, private messages, or full job records into a random tool. Keep a small record you control and remove details you do not need.
