Is your proposal easy to trust?

Paste a draft. The checker looks for a clear opening, real proof, client focus, one useful question, and a sensible length.

Your draft stays here. Nothing is saved or sent to us.

0 words
This is a simple writing check. It cannot promise replies or jobs.
What this checks

Five things clients should find fast.

  1. 01A direct first line
  2. 02Proof of real work
  3. 03Focus on the client
  4. 04One useful question
  5. 05An easy-to-scan length
Best for

Know when this tool is useful.

  • Freelancers with a proposal draft of at least 15 words.
  • A final structure check before you send.
  • People who want visible rules instead of an AI rewrite.
How it works

How the Proposal Quick Check works.

The checker reads the draft in your browser and applies five simple rules. Each passed rule adds 20 points. It does not save, send, or rewrite the draft.

  1. 01

    Paste a draft

Use the proposal you plan to send. The tool needs at least 15 words to run.

  2. 02

    Run five checks

It looks at the first line, proof, client-focused words, a question, and overall length.

  3. 03

    Fix the useful gaps

Use the result as an editing list. Keep every claim true and make the final draft sound like you.

Exact method

Every check and calculation.

No mystery score. These are the rules the tool uses.

Direct first line
Passes when the first non-empty line has at least 12 characters and does not match a common greeting-plus-application opening.
Proof of real work
Looks for a delivery or result word such as built, shipped, helped, improved, managed, or launched, or a number.
Client focus
Looks for words such as you, your, project, goal, need, users, customers, or team.
One useful question
Passes when the draft contains a question mark.
Easy to scan
Passes at 45–180 words with no more than six paragraph blocks.
Worked example

Example: a five-check draft

  • Draft: ‘Your Shopify product pages load slowly on mobile, so I would check the theme code and image sizes first. I recently improved a similar store and reduced its load time by 32%. I can start with the slowest page and share the findings before any larger change. Which page is causing the most trouble for your team?’

Result: This draft passes all five structure checks. That does not mean it will win the job.

Example only. It is not a client result or a promise.
Read the result

What the output means.

80–100: Strong base
Most structure checks are present. Verify every fact and do one final read for tone.
60: Almost ready
Three checks passed. Fix the missing points that matter for this job.
0–40: Make it clearer
The draft needs a simpler shape or more real proof before sending.
Important limits

What this tool cannot tell you.

  • It cannot verify whether your claims are true.
  • It cannot judge portfolio quality, job fit, price, or client intent.
  • A high score does not promise a view, reply, interview, or contract.
  • It uses simple word and length rules, so read the result with context.
Questions

Before you trust the result.

Does UpGrowthDesk save my proposal?

No. The check runs in your browser. The page does not send the draft to us.

Will a high score help me win a job?

Not by itself. The score only shows whether five useful parts are present. Fit, timing, proof, price, and other factors still matter.

Can the tool rewrite my proposal?

No. It shows the gaps so you can edit the proposal in your own voice.

Why does the checker use 45–180 words?

That is a practical range for this tool’s scan check, not an Upwork rule. A shorter or longer proposal can still be right.
